Travelling to Hull is easier and quicker than you may think. Given the volume of cars that will be on route to Hull on event day, Run For All encourages the use of public transport.

We have been made aware of roadworks which may affect journeys to the Hull 10K this weekend. We believe you may be directly affected so would ask you to read this email carefully.
We have been advised there will be a complete closure of the A63 Eastbound between South Cave and Welton. Traffic will be rerouted via the A1034, A1079 and A164 re-joining the A63 at the Western Interchange. The diversion route will be signposted.
Official advice suggests the diversion should add up to 15 minutes to your journey – but with lots of people heading to the Hull 10K, we would urge you to leave yourself plenty of time.
Unfortunately, due to logistical reasons, we will not be able to delay the start of the race at 9.30am – so please set off early and arrive relaxed and not in a rush.
The start/finish areas on Alfred Gelder Street and event village in Queen's Gardens are both in the heart of the city. Walkers can access the venue from any direction, irrespective of road closures.
Bike racks are available in Queen's Gardens near the event village. Please note that road closures are applicable to bicycles too.
The bus station is approximately 5 – 10 minutes walk from the start/finish area and event village. Please bear in mind that buses will be affected by the road closures, so for alterations to services, please visit www.wymetro.com for up to date bus timetable details.
Please be aware that a number of roads will be affected by closures on the day. Latest road closures details can be found here.
