Spectator Information

The Asda Foundation Leeds 10K, with an out and back course along Kirkstall Road, provides a number of vantage points for spectators wanting to cheer on friends and family or just experience the atmosphere of the day.

Viewing points

Vicar Lane is a great place to see the start before moving to The Headrow for the home straight. Kirkstall Road offers great vantage points as runners leave and return to the city centre.

Meeting up with your friends or family

Millennium Square is the best place to meet up with runners after the event.

My Journey...
Lesley O’Connor

Lesley has taken part in each Leeds 10K since its launch back in 2007 after being inspired by Jane Tomlinson. Lesley, 47, from Leeds, this year ran as part of a team raising money for Brain Tumour Research and Support Across Yorkshire after the brother of one of her colleagues passed away suddenly. Lesley’s team raised hundreds for their chosen cause and said they enjoyed every minute – so much so, she says she’ll be back for an eighth time in 2014.
