I am a 43 year old primary school teacher with 4 children and a passion for running. I run for Shepshed running club, and have completed races from 1 mile to 69 miles!
I have completed several marathons in under 3 hours, and numerous 10k's with a PB of 36:24. I particularly enjoy pacing others to achieve their goals, and enjoy helping people to see the benefits of running at a consistent pace.
I hope to help many runners hit their personal targets on the day of the race.
Bruce Raeside - Sub 45mins
I took up running seriously after representing my county at the English schools cross country championships at the age of 15. It didn't take much encouragement to join my local running club Notts AC which helped me further into National league competition.
After a lot of hard work I began to gain honours representing the Midlands and Scotland at International level at 3000m steeplechase and cross country which eventually lead to being selected to represent Great Britain and to train as part of the Great British endurance squad at altitude in Font Romeu, France.
My biggest achievements are winning silver in the UK champs and world trials.
I’m Dan and have been running approx. 4 years now. I’m currently a member of Redhill Roadrunners in Nottingham. I have recently achieved 50 Parkruns, ran a number of half marathons with a PB of 89 mins, ran London and the Liverpool marathons this year and completed them both in 3hrs 24 mins, I’ve also entered my first Ultra marathon of 40 miles in July (see how I get on with that!), so I have covered all the distances at various paces. I’m always happy to chat whilst running, give advice and love to hear everyone else’s running stories or achievements so please feel free to do just that on race day and we’ll get through it together!
Martin Styles - Sub 55 mins
My name is Martin Styles from Nottingham and I have been running for over 20 years. I initially starting running due to advice from my doctor and running soon became part of my daily life. My main achievements include running the Great North Run, Triathlon and the London Marathon, and raising over £2,000 for Diabetes UK in the memory of my late father. I paced for the Nottingham 10km last year (sub 60 mins) for the first time and loved every minute of it. Hi, my name is Jade. I'll be your 60 minute pacer. I began running at school when I joined the cross country team. Since then I really caught the running bug and have taken part in lots of 10ks, half marathons and three marathons. I'm really looking forward to helping fellow runners achieve the magical 60 minute 10k!
Hi I’m your 65 minute pacer for Leicester 10K. I’ve been running since 2009. My current club is Harlow Running Club. I am currently working towards the 100 Marathon club.
I used to race for times, now run to try and inspire my two daughters. Love pacing, it is very satisfying to help people reach their targets.

Susan Statham - Sub 1hr 10mins
Hi, my name is Susan and I have been running for nearly 6 years. When I first started running I couldn't run a mile without stopping for what seemed like 20 times but since then I have completed 5 half marathons with a new PB each time and many 10k races.
I have also completed over 50 park runs mainly at Conkers which I do with my husband and our 2 year old son, we both really enjoy this and it definitely puts the fun factor into running!
I am really looking forward to pacing a sub 1hr10 at the Nottingham and Leicester 10k, please look out for me and I will help and encourage you all the way throughout the run.
Hi – my name is Johan. I’m a 22 year old cricketer who has been running for 2 years now. I’ve caught the running bug and found a real love for racing as well as pacing. To date, I’ve completed 7 Marathons, 28 Half Marathons and various 10K’s, with a Marathon PB of 3:43:08 (London, 2016). I’m looking forward to trotting round the course with my sub-75 minute group and look forward to meeting you all!
