May we please draw your attention to a very important issue?
If you pay UK income tax or capital gains tax then any charity you donate to may be able to reclaim some tax from the Inland Revenue to increase the donation you give them. If you think you may qualify for gift aid then please include with your donation your name, home address and a confirmation that you have paid UK tax and that you would like your donation to be gift aided. We will then arrange to make a claim from the Inland Revenue which is currently 28p for every £1 donated. Please be reassured that this course of action does not impact at all on your personal tax position so you have nothing to lose and your chosen charity has much to gain. Thank you.
