York Mini & Junior

Race Date: 4th August 2019

Join the thousands of runners expected at the ever popular Arena Group York Mini and Junior across the Knavesmire and York Racecourse

Using the same start and finish line as the 10K race, our young runners will be cheered on by the huge crowds that line Knavesmire Road.

The 1.5km mini run is for children aged three to eight. The junior run, for youngsters aged between nine and 14, covers a distance of 2.5km. Both runs are suitable for all abilities.

Runners will be led around the courses by a lead cyclist and marshals will be on hand throughout the routes to direct and encourage them.

The Mini & Junior Runs start from around 11.45am - once our 10K runners have crossed the finish line, so if you have entered the main race and fancy a ‘cool-down’ with your young runner, then this is one for you.

Every child who crosses the line will receive a goody bag and finisher's medal to show the world they did it!
