The organisers of some of the UK’s most popular running events have announced a new partnership with leading health and life insurance company ViiSana.
ViiSana will be an official partner of Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All events - which include six 10Ks in Leeds, York, Nottingham, Burnley, Hull and Lincoln, two half marathons in Sheffield and Leeds and a full marathon in York – through 2016 and 2017.
The sponsorship arrangement ties in with ViiSana’s ‘small steps to a better you’ philosophy, encouraging people to get fit with a range of runs for different abilities – from 10Ks to a marathon.
ViiSana is a fast-growing life, protection and health insurance distributor. An exclusive distributor of Vitality insurance products in the UK, they provide a wide range of personal and business protection products which cover life, serious illness and health insurance.
ViiSana also offers a complimentary range of benefits that sit alongside the Vitality rewards and discounts, helping their clients to take ‘small steps to a better you’.
Every year tens of thousands of people take part in Run For All events – running for charity, for a personal challenge, to get fitter and healthier or just for fun.
To date, millions of pounds have been raised for a huge number of local and national charities.
Paul Ollerton, Managing Director of ViiSana says: “We’re incredibly proud to sponsor Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All. We also love its ethos of encouraging everyone who wants to, to take part and get fit – something we encourage our customers to do with our #smallsteps to a better you philosophy.”
Run For All Events Manager Charlie Tatman said: “We’re delighted to welcome ViiSana as a sponsor of Run For All events. Its vision of promoting healthy lifestyles works alongside our own aims to encourage people to get involved in physical activity and to achieve a personal goal, whatever their ability.”
