'Good luck Lincoln' - from your partner charities!

It goes without saying that all the Asda Foundation City of Lincoln 10K partner charities wish you luck for Sunday 7th April. This week we spoke to three that wanted to give you an extra boost ahead of the big day!

Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire

"We're so grateful to all of our runners that are taking on the 10K for us this year. All your fundraising efforts have and will go onto make a big difference.

"Around 200,000 older people haven’t had a conversation with a friend or relative in more than a month. Just £20 allows us to send a befriender to visit an isolated lonely older person for a month!

"If you fancy finding out more please come and say hello to us. We'll be in the Event Village on race day and don't bite... honest.

"Good luck everyone, we hope you have a fabulous day!"

"We have been proud to be a part of the Asda Foundation City of Lincoln 10k for a number of years and love to offer our supporters the opportunity to raise money for us by taking part in this great personal challenge.

"In 2019 we are celebrating our 25th anniversary , 25 years of saving lives across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire and the money that is raised by our amazing 10k team will contribute towards keeping the helicopter and its lifesaving crew in the skies .

"Good luck to all of our runners who have chosen us as their charity, you are the best and it doesn’t matter where you finish, you are all winners to us!"
