Today we’re celebrating the women that make our Asda Foundation Series so special!

As you may know, our not-for-profit legacy was sparked by one inspirational lady, Jane Tomlinson CBE. And we are so proud to see her courage, determination and spirit live-on through our female runners.

We joined Strideout this International Women’s Day to celebrate their incredibly inclusive community spirit! They offer supportive running sessions for Women of all ages and abilities, typifying the true meaning of Feel Good Running! We’ll be seeing a few of them at Sheffield 10K later this year.

REad Their Story

Rightly proud of her slow jog/fast walk running technique, Amanda says it doesn’t matter what time she crosses her Asda Foundation Sheffield Half Marathon finish line, she’ll just be elated to know that she’s ‘kicked cancers butt!’

Katrina Cliffe will run her first half marathon and marathon this year to support the charity that helped her have two children following a miscarriage.
