Charity Partnerships Manager

Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All is one of the UK’s biggest not-for-profit sporting event companies, staging a large number of high profile mass participation events including the Leeds 10K and York 10Ks, Leeds Half Marathon and The Yorkshire Marathon.

With charity at the organisation’s core Run For All is now looking for a Charity Partnerships Manager to join the Leeds-based team to assist in maximising the potential of Run For All events for charities big and small.  

You will be responsible for managing all charity partnerships across the challenge event series including promoting and selling charity packages, agreeing charity partner contracts and managing ongoing relationships, such as their event day presence.

This role will be part of the Marketing and Commercial department where you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop the charity package offering, maintaining the best value and opportunities for all charities.

As the primary contact for all charity engagement, your role will be to develop the company’s charitable offering to ensure the events are accessible to all not-for-profit organisations, regardless of size or income. Run For All prides itself on the ‘For All’ aspect of its brand and it will be your responsibility to ensure this is continued with the charitable side of the business.

You will possess excellent communication skills and be proficient across the full range of IT packages, including Microsoft Office, Word, Power Point and Excel. Knowledge of HTML, CMS and database management would be an advantage.

You will be responsible for all administrative tasks associated with the role including invoicing, entry system management, reporting and contracts.

Applicants should be personable, confident, enthusiastic and hardworking, be flexible and have a positive attitude and a good sense of humour. You will need to own a car and have a full clean driving licence to be considered for this position.

You should expect to work a number of weekends and occasionally, out of hours, especially throughout the event season.

Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week
Salary: Up to £26,000 depending on experience
Reports to: Sponsorship and Commercial Manager

Relationships: Internal - Head of Commercial, Sponsorship and Corporate Manager, Marketing Manager, Marketing Assistant, Admin team, Events team and volunteer co-ordinator.
External – Official partner charities, charities, online fundraising platforms
