We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic, go getter to join our marketing and commercial team.
With strategic marketing experience the successful candidate will work in the marketing and commercial team and be a key player in driving the business forward.
This role provides an opportunity for an ambitious individual to work at Senior Team level within an ambitious charitable events company. The successful candidate must have line management experience.
As a dynamic and results-focused professional with great commercial acumen they will be responsible for the retention and acquisition of all sponsors and partnerships.
Overseeing day-to-day operations surrounding the marketing and corporate management you will pursue new business opportunities, explore new avenues of activity and seek opportunities that the company can exploit in its bid to develop and grow.
The Commercial Marketing Manager, will execute through the line marketing plans, on time and within budget, ensuring consistent delivery across customer touchpoints. They will also optimise plans to drive performance, coordinating multiple teams of stakeholders in campaign delivery whilst ensuring the consistent execution of the brand across all channels
A fresh-thinker with at least three years’ sales and marketing experience, they will provide leadership and be skilled in reporting and analysing the success of your strategies and campaigns.
With experience of B2B sales/business development in the sports industry – and a keen understanding of this sector. Whilst also have a proven track record of securing commercial partnerships.
With charity at our core, we are looking to employ someone who understands the unique ethos of and aims of the organisation. Applicants should be enthusiastic, hard working, flexible (the role will naturally require weekend working in events season) and have a positive attitude and a good sense of humour. You will need to own a car and have a full driving licence to be considered for this position.
Salary and benefits
The salary for this post is £30,000-36,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus contribution towards a personal pension following completion of a successful probationary period. Holiday entitlement is 25 days per year excluding public holidays.
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday. Additional evening and weekend work will be required, particularly in the run up to and during the event season.
Applicants must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle as the role can demand travel across Yorkshire, Lancashire and the East Midlands.
