Joe Stearne from Castleford is on a mission to run 100 marathons in 52 weeks to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support.
Having already run a staggering 65 marathons in 24 weeks, Joe will be ending his mammoth marathon challenge at the finish line of the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon.
Two years ago Joe and his family's world was rocked when they received the devastating news that someone close to them was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma and more recently again they have been dealing with this horrible disease.
"MacMillan has been vital in ensuring we are feeling as well equipped as we possibly can be, so now I feel I am ready to give back!" Joe says.
A keen runner, Joe has already run 30 marathons prior to starting his new marathon challenge. Raising over £5000 for MacMillan, Joe also ticked off a 52-mile ultra marathon last year.
"I think tip-wise it's all about setting achievable goals and getting out there with friends.
"Now that the winter months are coming, I will be heading out very early to run solo marathons before a 12-hour shift at work so it's really important to remind myself why I'm running and what I'm running for, then the rest comes easy!"
Good luck Joe, we can't wait to cheer you on at the finish line!
