Our Asda Foundation Burnley 10K is much-loved and people return year after year to enjoy the amazing support and atmosphere on route. Be part of it in 2018 - entries opening soon!

Entry

  • Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day.
  • Race packs will need to be collected in the weeks leading up to the event.
  • Run For All encourage people of all abilities to take part in the Asda Foundation Burnley 10K. Please contact us in advance with any specific requirements and we shall do our utmost to cater to these.
  • Please note that this route is not suitable for wheelchair users.

  • 07.30am - Race office and baggage store open to participants
  • 09.10am - Mass warm up

Car Parking        

Parking on Sunday 5th June will be available within Towneley Park and can be accessed from both entrances.  All parking is pay and display, with a charge of £1.50 all day. Free parking is available only a short walk away at a number of council car parks in the town centre, although please be aware that some car parks may have access restricted due to road closures in place for the event.

From the West/ Town Centre - For satnav use postcode BB11 3DF

Access is via Parliament Street and Yorkshire Street onto Todmorden Road up until 8.50am.  Should you arrive at this point post 8.50am you should use the town centre car parks or re-route via Centenary Way and Red Leys Road.

Anyone parking in the car park off Towneley Holmes Road can exit from 10.15am onwards, but will be restricted to a left turn onto Todmorden Road.

From the North - For satnav use postcode BB11 3DF

Access is via Belvedere Road/ Yorkshire Street onto Todmorden Road up until 8.50am.  Should you arrive at this point post 8.50am you should use the town centre car parks or re-route via Centenary Way and Red Leys Road.

Anyone parking in the car park off Towneley Holmes Road can exit from 10.15am onwards, but will be restricted to a left turn onto Todmorden Road.

Please note Towneley Holmes Road car park has limited space - once it is full you will be redirected to the car parks located off Park Bridge Road (still in Towneley Park).

From the South and East - For satnav use postcode BB10 4SD

Access is via Red Leys Road/ Brunshaw Road onto Deer Park Road throughout the event

Anyone parking in the car parks off Park Bridge Road can access and exit throughout the event, but please note access to Burnley town centre via Ridge Avenue or Harry Potts Way will be limited until 11:30am.

Access will be signed from Brunshaw Road and into the park via Deer Park Road. 

As with any event, we expect traffic to be busy, so please allow extra time for your journey.

Road Closures

Please be aware that a number of roads will be affected by closures on the day. Road closure advice will be issued prior to the event. Please check back nearer the time for more information.
