Getting There

Travelling to Lincoln is easier and quicker than you may think. 

Arriving on foot

The start is on Riseholme Road and the finish is near Lincoln Cathedral. The Event Village is in Lincoln Castle. Walkers can access the venue from any direction, irrespective of road closures.          

Arriving by rail

Regular services run to Lincoln Railway Station. 


With thousands of runners heading to the city, the roads approaching Lincoln are likely to be busier than usual; please leave plenty of time for your journey. 

Parking locations will be allocated to individual bib numbers:

1 – 6000 Yarborough Leisure Centre Playing Fields, Breedon Drive, LN1 3XA

6001 + Sudbrooke Drive Playing Field, LN2 2DS

Breedon Drive parking can be accessed via Burton Road > Breedon Drive

Please note Burton Road will be closed from 9.10am so you will not be able to access parking after this time

Sudbrooke Drive carpark can be accessed via:

Riseholme Road > Scopwick Place > Woodhall Drive > Laughton Way > Redbourne Drive

OR alternatively:

Longdales Road > Ravendale Drive > Laughton Way > Sudbrooke Drive > Laughton Way > Redbourne Drive

Please note Riseholme Road will be closed from 5.30am but the lane to enter this carpark will remain open

Please follow the parking signage which will be displayed over the event weekend

The drop-off point for participants is at The Lincoln Imp just off Riseholme Road and Scopwick Place located on Blankney Crescent
