Hi my name is Terry and I run for St Theresa’s Athletic Club. I have been running for nearly 6 years now, I have done many pacing jobs for run for all, so you should be in safe hands. Come over and say 'hi', and I hope to help you to a new Pb. Cya on the day.
I’m John but most people call me "Robbo" and I'm a member of St. Theresa's Athletic Club in Leeds. I've been running and racing for around 15 years and have a wealth of experience at everything from 5K's to marathons. I'm excited about being a Run For All pace-maker so whether you're looking to smash your Personal Best or just looking for some company as you run, look out for me and my trademark long green socks and prepare for some noise at the finish!
Hi I’m Nick, I only took up running in 2012 when overweight and struggling to chase my 2 year old around, a throw away comment to the Mother in Law 'I could do that' whilst watching her do the York 10km was grasped upon by my wife and the gauntlet was thrown down. I struggled to find motivation to run without a football to chase but stumbled across the quite wonderful parkrun scene and never looked back. I've now done things I swore I would never do, joined a running club, ran numerous races over very varied terrain and distance, parkrun toured all over the country and more importantly now actually enjoy running. I won't win a race anytime soon but I have my own targets to hit and in the meantime if I can help someone hit their own, happy days!
I'm Andrew from St Theresa's Athletic Club. I started running 4 years ago after my neighbour (and fellow pacer today) Nick Wealleans dragged me round the streets of Rothwell. I've now completed more than 120 parkruns, and progressed onto 10ks, 10 milers and most recently a half marathon. I've done plenty of pacing at parkruns and other races around Yorkshire. I am really looking forward to helping as many people as possible to meet their target of under 55 minutes at the Leeds 10k. See you on race day!
Hello, my name is Sarah. I'm a member of St Theresa's Athletic Club and have been running for around 3 years. Over this period of time I have enjoyed running over various distances and terrains. When time permits, I also enjoy helping out at local events and have served stints both marshalling and pacing. If you're looking for support and encouragement to break that elusive 60 minute mark, please come and say hello on the day.
I'm Sam and I absolutely love running. From the roads of Leeds, to the moors of Ilkley, to the hot deserts of the USA... you name it, and I've had a crack at running it! This is my third year of pacing the Run For All events, and I promise if you join my sub 60 group, we'll be having lots of fun with some PB's at the end. See you there
Hi my name is Anna and I’m super excited to be a pacer at the Leeds 10k. It’s a race I’ve done a few times now and I love running in the summer months best of all!
I've been running for 3 years and been a member of St Theresa's Athletics Club for 2.5 years. My running journey started with Temple Newsam parkrun and I still love parkrun but I also enjoy all distances and have done lots of 5ks, 10ks, 10 milers, half marathons and am currently training for my 4th marathon.
Please seek me out at the beginning or during the race and I'll motivate and encourage you during the race and get you in under 65 minutes with a smile!
Hi – I am Anna and I have been running consistently for around 4 years (although dabbled a bit here and there before). I originally started to run as a weight loss tool, but I was soon fully addicted and cannot imagine life without it! I joined St Theresa’s Athletic Club three years ago and I love the support from other club members. I am a regular at Temple Newsam parkrun, where I occasionally pace as well. I enjoy racing, over various distances from 5k to half marathon and have recently found a love for off road races! I am really excited to be part of the pacing team at Leeds 10k and hopefully help others achieve their goal times and PBs!
Hi runners! I hope that you are all looking forward to participating in the Leeds Run For All 10K! I am Lea from St Theresa's running club and I have been running for approximately 2 years now. I enjoy running a variety of distances and am enjoying building up my collection of running medals! I am super excited about pacing at this event and I'll enjoy helping you achieve your goals whether it's finishing your first 10k, setting a new PB or just having fun along the race course! I can assure you that we'll all cross the finish line with big smiles on our faces! See you on race day! An added bonus is that I always run with a (large) bag of Haribo's and would be more than happy to share!
