The Jane Tomlinson Appeal was established by the late Jane Tomlinson CBE. We support a wide range of charities across the North and the Midlands to improve the lives of children and the lives of people who are affected by cancer.

Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. We provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care. Cancer affects us all. We can all help. We are Macmillan.

The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance is a dedicated Helicopter Emergency Medical Service. Each mission costs approx £2,500 and we fly an average of 3 missions per day, 365 days of the year. Each year we need to raise £2.5m to keep flying and saving lives.

Equation delivers education to our whole community to help prevent domestic abuse and violence, gender inequality and raise aspirations for healthy relationships.  We work with children, young people and adults to provide practical tools and guidance and support the well-being of survivors.

Making a positive difference to people in Nottingham using innovative sports projects to improve people’s health, confidence and skills. We deliver a wide range of sport related projects to the wider community, working with some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people in Nottinghamshire. Projects include supporting cancer rehabilitation, promoting positive mental health and encouraging healthy lifestyles, among many others.

The Canaan Trust is a Local Independent Homeless Charity which, for over 20 years, has provided support for individuals who are homeless and in need. The Trust operates 24-7, 365 days a year in a Person Centred manner seeking to respond to each unique individual’s (male or female) need.  The Trust is dependent on the support of the Community and charitable donations to enable it  to ‘Rebuild Lives’ and to support clients to achieve independent living back in the Community. My Sight Nottinghamshire, formerly Nottinghamshire Royal Society for the Blind (NRSB), is the only charity dedicated exclusively to improving the lives of people living with sight loss in Nottinghamshire. They provide support services, leisure opportunities, information and advice to thousands of local visually impaired people and their families.

Treetops supports people with illnesses such as cancer, motor neurone disease and multiple sclerosis. They also supports their carers and families. All services are provided free of charge. The hospice has to raise more than £3 million every year to run. That’s about £7,500 per day. 70% of this comes from charitable donations and fundraising events.
