Hosted within the UK’s one & only fitness festival for true fitness competitors and enthusiasts – Fitfest, the Cooper Run Birmingham will see runners go all out to be crowned the Cooper Champion.
The Cooper test designed by Kenneth H. Cooper in 1968 for US military use is a physical fitness test. The point of the test is to run as far as possible within 12 minutes. It is a popular running test of aerobic endurance.
Runners of all levels are invited to test their speed and endurance on a dedicated indoor track, aiming to complete as many laps as possible within a 12-minute time limit. This exciting event provides a unique opportunity to push your limits. It is perfect for those seeking a personal benchmark or just looking to have fun, the 12-Minute Challenge is designed to inspire runners to go further, faster, and leave it all on the track.
The event will be one of many hosted over the weekend between 7th/8th December at the NEC Birmingham and is expected to have 15,000 people in attendance, along with over 60 leading fitness brands.
