Following two successful years, the Asda Foundation Hull Half Marathon is back again in 2020 

The event will be held on the same day as the popular Asda Foundation Hull 10K, creating a festival of running that’s guaranteed to bring thousands out on to the city’s streets.

Starting and finishing in Alfred Gelder Street, the predominantly flat course offers great PB potential.

The route takes in The Deep, Humber Dock Marina, Hull City Hall and the University of Hull before heading back for a fabulous finish in the heart of the city centre.

Entrants must be 17 years or over on event day.

It’s big. It’s brilliant. And it’s back.

In a city with a street boasting the wonderful name of Land of Green Ginger, the event promises to spice up our 2020 season.

Starting and finishing in Alfred Gelder Street, the largely flat course offers great PB potential and takes in The Deep, Humber Dock Marina, Hull City Hall and the University of Hull before heading back for the grand finish in the heart of the city centre.

Toilets

Toilets will be provided for runners and spectators in the event village on Queen's Gardens.

Baggage Store

Runners will be able to deposit their baggage free of charge at our baggage store on Guildhall Road.

Race Office

The Race office will be open on Sunday morning from 8.00am in the event village on Queen's Gardens.

Massage

Post-event massage will be available in the event village thanks to the support of local companies

Event Village

Our amazing partner charities will be represented in the event village, catering for their fundraisers and raising awareness of the work they do.

Drink Stations

Bottled water has been kindly provided by the Asda Foundation at approximately every 3 miles and at the finish. Competitors are advised to ensure that they consider the effects of dehydration and drink plenty of fluids to compensate.

First Aid

Medical personnel will provide assistance at regular intervals on the course with fixed first aid stations located near to the water stations. In addition there will be a first aid unit and recovery area located next to the finish line. .

Food and Drink

Refreshments will be available in the event village and cafés, bars and restaurants in the Fruit Market and city centre areas will also be out in force, fuelling spectators and runners, and catering for the vibrant atmosphere that engulfs the city centre and waterfront into the afternoon and evening.

Your race number will posted to the address that you entered when you registered for the event. Race numbers will start to be posted to your registered address from around 7–10 days prior to the event.

If you register on event week, then you will need to collect your race number from our race office on event weekend.  

If you have changed address since registration, it is your responsibility to inform us. However, we will also be sending out an email around eight weeks before the event to ask if you have changed address recently.

The specific dates when you will receive your race number will be added in due course.

What if I'm coming from overseas?

Race numbers will not be posted to those participants who provided a postal address located outside of the UK as we can’t guarantee the safe delivery of the race number.

However, if you do have a UK address that your race number can be posted to prior to the event, please contact us at info@runforall.com with details. Alternatively you will be able to collect your race number from the Race Office on the event weekend. Opening hours of the Race Office will be detailed on our website at www.runforall.com in the week prior to the event.

info Can't run anymore?

Race numbers cannot be interchangeable and entries cannot be assigned, transferred, sold or gifted to any third party. Do not under any circumstances allow anybody else to run with your race number. Amongst other issues, this can create major problems for the medical team should they need to treat unknown runners. Anyone found to have done this will be disqualified

Getting there

Travelling to Hull is easier and quicker than you may think. Given the volume of cars that will be on route to Hull on event day, Run For All encourages the use of public transport.
