A team from Eltherington Group are celebrating after being crowned the winners of the 2015 Hull 10K team challenge.
With the times of the first four team members home counting, Eltherington Group triumphed in the event’s open category with a combined time of 2hrs 44mins 08secs.
Team James took the honours in the mixed category – in which the times of the first two men and first two women across the finish line were added together – in a time of 3:59:12.
A great way for friends and colleagues to get together to tackle the event, the team challenge brought an added dimension to the Hull 10K which attracted around 5,000 entrants to the run.
The challenge was chip-timed and, along with prizes for the winners, there were goody bags, medals and finishers’ t-shirts for all those taking part.
Team challenges are a super way to foster team spirit and raise money for good causes. If you are inspired to get together with friends and take on a charity run, check out the team challenges which are a feature of this year’s Asda Foundation Leeds and York 10Ks.
