JustGiving celebrate the amazing work of fundraisers

Here at Run For All, we’re incredibly proud to see hundreds of inspirational fundraisers take on each of our events throughout the year – and now is the time to shine a spotlight on the amazing things they do.

Nominations are now open for the JustGiving Awards 2019 – an annual celebration of the outstanding individuals, teams, and charities who have raised money with JustGiving over the last year.

Keith Williams, General Manager UK and Ireland at JustGiving, said: “It’s fantastic to be celebrating our 10th anniversary of the JustGiving Awards this year, recognising the incredible work and dedication of some of the most inspiring fundraisers and charities.

“Whether that’s pushing themselves to complete enormous physical challenges, saving their own life with pioneering medical treatment or campaigning to make a positive difference to the world - these people turn to JustGiving every day to prove that giving changes lives.”

On every race-day, we see people taking on a challenge, whether that’s running dressed in a crazy costume, doing it as a team, trying to smash a world record or simply pushing themselves to do something they never thought possible, every one of our fundraisers tests their limits for a cause close to their hearts.

Run For All’s Charity and Partnerships Executive Georgia Featherstone said: “Every single person attending our events is running for their own personal reason – and that’s something the team here at Run For All always bear in mind.

“It’s truly amazing to see everyone set off from the start line on race-day, and to then see them crossing the finish line is an incredibly emotional experience.

“It doesn’t matter how fast you run, it just matters that you’re there, whatever your own personal reason for running may be.”

The final 27 finalists will be announced on 24th July, and the final ceremony will take place in London on 22nd October.

Categories will include Endurance Fundraiser of the Year, Young Fundraiser of the Year and Fundraising Team of the Year – so, if you know someone who has done something fantastic and want to give them their moment in the spotlight, go make your nomination here and give them the recognition they deserve.

Keith Williams added: “Last year, we received over 70,000 wonderful nominations in total, and we can’t wait to see what fantastic submissions will be made for 2019”.

 Nominations close on 30th June.
