The countdown to the Altra Yorkshire Marathon Festival is well and truly on, with just four weeks to go until thousands of runners take to the start line in York.
We're inviting participants to join us for two exclusive pre-race events designed to boost confidence, answer any last-minute questions and get you excited for race day.
Track & Chat
Wednesday 30th September 6pm – 8pm
Join us for an evening of running, learning and community as part of Altra's Track & Chat session.
Participants will have the opportunity to test Altra's latest racing shoe, the Vanish Carbon Flow 3, before taking part in a guided track workout. You'll also be able to hear from Altra co-founder Brian Beckstead, ask questions about race day preparation and enjoy refreshments with fellow runners.
It's the perfect opportunity to put the finishing touches to your marathon preparations and connect with others taking part in the festival.

As race day approaches, it's natural to have questions about training, pacing, footwear and preparation. That's why we're delighted to welcome Brian Beckstead, co-founder of Altra Running, to the Track & Chat session.
Brian co-founded Altra in 2009 after spending more than a decade working in specialist running retail. Alongside fellow founders Golden Harper and Jeremy Howlett, he helped develop Altra's innovative FootShape™ Fit and Zero-to-Low Drop platform, both designed to encourage more natural movement and improve comfort for runners.
An experienced ultrarunner and outdoor enthusiast, Brian has played a key role in Altra's growth from a grassroots start-up to one of the world's leading running brands. This is a unique opportunity to hear his story, gain expert insight and ask any questions ahead of race day.
To attend either of these events, you must be registered for either the Altra Yorkshire Marathon or Altra Yorkshire 10 Mile.
