Josh is running this year's Altra Yorkshire Marathon to raise money for the Huntington's Disease Association after the disease has deeply affected his family.
Josh's mum Anne died of Huntington's when he was just 10 years old. Huntington's Disease is an incurable genetic condition, which causes the degeneration of nerve cells in the brain, affecting a sufferers physical and mental capabilities over time.
As the disease can be genetically inherited, Josh took a test when he turned 18 to see if he too had the disease. Unfortunately, Josh tested positive for Huntington's Disease, but currently has no symptoms.
Since being diagnosed, Josh vowed to raise as much money and awareness for Huntington's as possible and, to date, has raised over £13,000 for the Huntington's Disease Association.
He has previously taken part in charity treks across the Swiss Alps and the Grand Canyon, as well as completing marathons in Paris, London, Manchester, and Yorkshire.
