Jasmine is running the Yorkshire Marathon this year in honour of former boxer Clint, who was rendered paralysed from the neck down after a life-changing spinal cord injury.
"Despite the unimaginable challenges he faces every day, he remains one of the strongest, most determined people I've ever met."
She is fundraising to help Clint access the vital treatments and support that go beyond what is currently available through standard services.
"Training for this marathon is my way of showing solidarity with Clint's fight - not just physically, but mentally. Every mile I run is dedicated to him and others living with the condition"
However, Jasmine is not a seasoned runner. This is her first marathon, enduring the early mornings and sore legs to train for the race.
"...every mile I run is for him. I'm determined to cross that finish line, not just for myself, but for Clint - to honour his story and raise awareness for those whose voices are often unheard."
