The Canaan Trust is a Local Independent Homeless Charity which, for over 20 years, has provided support for individuals who are homeless and in need. The Trust operates 24-7, 365 days a year in a Person Centred manner seeking to respond to each unique individual’s (male or female) need.  The Trust is dependent on the support of the Community and charitable donations to enable it  to ‘Rebuild Lives’ and to support clients to achieve independent living back in the Community. Your help DOES make a difference….   HOMELESS LIVES MATTER!

Making a positive difference to people in Nottingham using innovative sports projects to improve people’s health, confidence and skills. We deliver a wide range of sport related projects to the wider community, working with some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people in Nottinghamshire. Projects include supporting cancer rehabilitation, promoting positive mental health and encouraging healthy lifestyles, among many others.

 

The Jane Tomlinson Appeal was established by the late Jane Tomlinson CBE. We support a wide range of charities across the North and the Midlands to improve the lives of children and the lives of people who are affected by cancer. 

 

Our dedicated researchers are working to help save and transform women's lives across the globe.  We are developing a blood test to detect breast cancer early. Our experts are developing more effective targeted treatments and using new discoveries to help stop breast cancer from spreading around the body. We are focused on reaching extraordinary goals. Support our work and you could be part of the next breast cancer breakthrough.

 

Nottinghamshire Deaf Society works with Deaf people of all ages and backgrounds to help them achieve, overcome barriers and live independently. We provide support services, community facilities and train people in British Sign Language and Deaf Awareness as well as advocating and representing the needs of deaf people to decision makers.
