Run For All has changed a lot since it first began in 2006. What was first organised by the Tomlinson family, friends and volunteers has now grown into one of the UK's biggest not-for profit events company.
Whilst the size and number of events has grown the ethos behind Run For All is very much remains the same. We want to ensure our events are truly accessible for all and provide a fundraising vehicle for as many charities as possible.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a strategic thinker who knows how to turn insight into impact. As our Content, Performance and Insights Manager, you’ll play a key role in understanding our participants, partners and audiences. You’ll turn data into actionable insights, lead on performance reporting, and oversee digital content and strategy to help Run For All reach more people than ever before.
This is a varied role for someone who’s comfortable working across marketing, digital and data, equally confident analysing trends as they are managing creative content performance and calendars.
You’ll also be an active member of our on-the-ground team, working at a variety of events on weekends throughout the season to help deliver unforgettable race day experiences and ensure our brand is represented at its best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on data analysis and customer insights to inform business decisions and strategy.
- Use data to identify growth opportunities, audience behaviours and content optimisation opportunities.
- Utilise organisations CRM and database to segment and utilise audiences and create weekly email schedule.
- Lead on digital strategy, ensuring all channels work together to drive awareness, engagement and participation.
- Work with Head of Marketing & Communications and support with overseeing the planning, creation and performance across we, email and social – ensuring consistent brand tone of voice and strategic objectives.
- Collate, interpret and circulate weekly performance figures to teams across the organisation.
- Oversee the paid social and digital advertising strategy with Head of Marketing & Communications to maximise ROI and reach.
- Aware of the wider industry and competitor trends, ensuring Run For All stays ahead of the curve and understands its position.
- Ensure all content and performance is aligned with overall marketing strategy and business goals.
- Overall responsibility for the Run For All website, working closely Senior Data & Performance Executive to implement
- Work closely with HCM to ensure all initiatives are insight-driven and performance focused.
- Devise and manage pricing strategies to maximise participation and revenue.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations for marketing, events, and operational teams.
- Champion a culture of data-driven decision making across the organisation.
- Line management, guidance and development support to members of the team.
About You:
We're looking for someone who brings both strategic clarity and creative drive – someone who can see the bigger picture but also how to make it happen.
- Proven experience in data analysis, insights or digital performance roles.
- Confident using analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Excel, CRM systems).

We’re looking for a motivated and creative Senior Data & Performance Executive to join our growing team - supporting the delivery of insight-driven marketing and leading on our paid social media campaigns.
About the Role:
As our Senior Content, Performance and Insights Executive, you’ll take the lead on driving digital growth and performance across marketing activity. Reporting to the Content, Performance & Insights Manager, you’ll own areas of delivery – from paid social and campaign optimisation, to content planning, reporting and digital experience.

- Support Content, Performance and Insights Manager in delivering performance reporting, data analysis and customer insights.
- Take ownership of paid social media advertising across platforms from campaign setup and targeting to creative optimisation and performance tracking (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc).
- Responsible for delivery of data-driven paid media strategy that drives participation, awareness and engagement across all events.
- Provide clear insights and recommendations to evolve campaign strategy based on data and wider marketing objectives.
- Provide monthly insight reports to track trends, measure sales and inform marketing activity.
- Manage and update the Run For All website, working with internal teams and third-party developers to ensure content is accurate and engaging.
- Track and report on website traffic, conversion rates and performance metrics.

We’re now looking for a dedicated Press Officer to lead media engagement and deliver compelling communications that celebrate our participants, amplify our charitable impact, and drive awareness and participation across our event portfolio.
About the Role:
As a Press Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our communications activity – shaping stories that promote our events, engage local communities and enhance public awareness. From managing media relationships to coordinating advertising and on the ground marketing, this is a dynamic hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose driven environment.
You’ll also be an active member of our on-the-ground team, working at a variety of events on weekends throughout the season to help deliver unforgettable race day experiences and ensure our brand is represented at its best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on press and media outreach, including drafting, pitching, and distributing press releases and media materials for Run For All and the Jane Tomlinson Appeal.
- Lead and manage relationships with media partners
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and national media, across consumer and trade titles
- Champion and communicate the brand story – ensuring all media activity communicates our mission, values and tone of voice.
- Source, develop and pitch case studies and human-interest stories that celebrate our runners, partners and charity initiatives.
- Work closely with our Content Executive to bring these stories to live across digital channels, ensuring alignment between media and content output.
- Coordinate advertising and promotional activity across print, radio, and outdoor platforms
- Provide on-site press and marketing support at events, ensuring consistent brand representation and assisting with race-day logistics
- Assist in the planning and delivery of community and promotional events
- Conduct market research and gather feedback to inform future campaign development
- Maintain and update media databases, contact lists, and press monitoring systems
- Provide general administrative and team support as required
About You:
We're looking for someone who is a natural storyteller. Who knows know to find and share the human stories that inspire action as well as increasing awareness of our portfolio of events and brand announcements. You’ll have strong media instincts, excellent writing skills and a passion for sport, community and purpose-led communication.

Your role on the Event Support Team will directly contribute to Run For All’s purpose, which is to provide a fundraising vehicle for a vast amount of local and national charities through its events programme. - Reviewing Key Event documentation ahead of the weekend to have a clear and confident understandings of the role expected on the day
- Managing and supporting a team of volunteers to provide them with a positive and memorable event experience
- Remaining professional throughout the day and promoting Run For All’s philosophy of high-quality, great fun events for absolutely all abilities.

What will you be doing?
- Route Marshal - The route marshal is a fantastic way to see the event and help create an electric atmosphere around the route, from lead runner to backmarker!
- Drink Station Marshal - Eventeers will be ready for the first runner and the last with that all-important drink of water whilst also shouting words of motivation and support.
- Baggage Marshal - Our Baggage Eventeers will greet participants both pre and post event as they drop off and collect their belongings at the Baggage Store.
- Finish Processing Marshal - Eventeers will be ready with that all-important medal, goody-bag and water to hand to every participant as they finish their race with a well-deserved congratulations. Eventeers here will also help channel participants into the ‘T-Shirt Collection’ and ‘No T-Shirt Collection’ based on their bib so is a great role to be vocal with!
- Race Office Marshal - Participants will come here to collect their Race Numbers pre-event where our Eventeers will be on hand to assist and give them a warm welcome and calm the pre-race nerves. This is a customer facing role so our Eventeers need to be friendly, approachable and chatty!
