We are looking for an experienced, creative, enthusiastic and articulate Digital Marketing Manager to join our Leeds based team. With strategic digital marketing experience, the successful candidate will be a key player in driving the business forward.
As a core member of the Marketing team, you will work closely with our Head of Marketing Operations to execute effective marketing strategies which include campaign development, execution and analysis of all campaigns. You will manage the Digital Marketing Executive and will produce engaging customer focused content through Social Media and Email Marketing. The successful candidate will also work closely with the Partnership Manager to ensure delivery on partner engagement.
You will manage and develop Run For All’s social media channels – creating organic and paid engaging content – engaging customers all the way through from signing up to a race, communicating with them prior, during and after the event and then encouraging them to sign up for future events.
You will be familiar with digital and social media advertising and be able to identify and progress opportunities for Run For All to further its reach online. You will also play a crucial part in the development of future digital projects. SEO knowledge is essential and Adobe Creative and video content knowledge is desirable.
You will be a lively, dynamic and results-focused professional, bursting with fresh ideas. To succeed in this role, you must have a genuine enthusiasm for events and be able to immerse yourself in the ‘runner experience’
The Role
You will be responsible for the following:
- Social content strategy, creation and management across all social channels – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok and Linkedin.
- Driving digital marketing campaigns forward and delivering creative social media marketing strategies which entice customers to sign up to our events and to ensure communication with them pre-, during and post- event and thus encouraging them to sign up for future events.
- Working with the Insights Manager to plan and deliver Run For All email marketing campaigns
- Working with the Partnerships Manager to ensure delivery on partner engagement
- Analysis and reporting on all digital campaigns to review and optimise channel performance
- Overseeing the management of the website
- Analysing and providing in-depth detail about website visitors using Google analytics
- Finding creative ways of building an online presence that continues to grow the brand through engagement of industry professional and influencers
- Managing the digital marketing budget
Profile, skills and experience required
- Experience in SEO, Content Marketing, Digital PR, Paid & Organic social media management
- Experience in eCommerce or events background desirable
- Track record of building and delivering high-impact content that delivers on sales targets
- Exceptionally good with persuasive sales-led copy
- A positive, creative, collaborative, can-do attitude
- Analytical - monitoring usage, access, and trends using tools such as Google Analytics, Social Media Analytics tools
- Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite is desirable
- Experience of video creation is desirable
- Experience in line management is desirable

Responsibilities
- Working with the Head of Marketing Operations to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job
- Work as brand guardian, maintaining consistency and quality to ensure all branding is working within corporate identity and brand guidelines across our event and with partners
- Develop and follow design briefs to apply creative skills and design a range of online and offline marketing and support materials
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design
- Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
- Provide print-ready artwork
- Produce creative and engaging content for social media, runner and volunteer comms
Skills
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Understanding of Creative Packages e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator etc
- Understanding of design, illustration, photography and motion design
- Organisational skills and the ability to be able to manage your own time and deadlines
