There is a Park & Ride service for this event which is operated by York Pullman. This will mean all travel is made simple through York Pullman, so you can have a stress-free day and focus on joining us as a spectator or runner for the Altra Yorkshire Marathon Festival!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
We strongly recommend that Altra Yorkshire Marathon Festival participants, purchase a York Pullman Park & Ride ticket that is no later than the 07:30 to 08:00 slot.
We recommend that Yorkshire 10 Mile participants purchase a York Pullman Park & Ride ticket that is between 08:00 and 09:30.
Elvington’s gates close at 17:30 on Sunday and all vehicles left in the car park following will need to use the call out number and may be charged to get their vehicle out.

Travel time
From the Event Village to the start line, it is approximately a 15-minute walk. Please leave enough time the morning of event to get yourself to the start line.
Please ensure you give yourself plenty of time in the morning of the event to pick up your race number (if needed) from the event village and make your way to the start line. Please leave at least 1 hour to do this.
York Pullman and Elvington Airfield are delighted to be able to offer a dedicated Park & Ride service for participants and spectators traveling to the Altra Yorkshire Marathon Festival.
Please note that there is NO event parking at the University of York or in the immediate vicinity. Therefore, Park & Ride will be essential if you want to travel to the event by car.
Regular services will run between the parking site at Elvington Airfield and the Event Village at the University of York. The service operated by York Pullman’s has been implemented to settle your pre-race nerves and take the stress out of event day travel so that you can have a great race day.
A York Pullmans Spectator Shuttle bus service will also run from the Event Village to the two spectator points across the marathon course, including Dunnington and Stamford Bridge.

- Elvington Park & Ride + Spectator Shuttle - Family Ticket (Family of 4) (Gold Route)

Please also note that road closures will be in place to facilitate both the marathon and 10-mile route and vehicle access for non-residents will be restricted.
We kindly ask that all participants and spectators plan and book travel in advance. Please give yourself plenty of time the morning of the event to pick up your race number (if you need to) and have time in the Event Village to make your way to the start line. Please leave around 1 hour for this.
*Capacity is limited for all services and York Pullman recommend that participants book the early slots to ensure they arrive at the start line on time.

Drop Off Points
There will be two designated drop-off and collection points at the University of York.
It is advised that participants make arrangements for collection post-event well in advance as waiting will not be
permitted.
West Loop (YO10 5ND): A19 / Main Street (Fulford)- Broadway - Heslington Lane; for participants travelling from the city centre and/or west of the city.
East Loop (YO10 5JU): Church Lane- Innovation Way - University Road - Field Lane; for participants travelling from the A64 and/or east of the city.
