This 5K event celebrates the "Voice of the Boro", Ali Brownlee. This much-loved radio broadcaster is remembered for his passionate commentary of Middlesbrough F.C. from 1982 to 2016, as well as his amazing community fundraising work.

We invite anyone and everyone aged 11 and up to come and remember this Middlesbrough legend at a fantastic twilight run. No matter your ability or reason for being there, we would love to see you at the start line.

Run For All encourages and supports participation from runners of all abilities. Please contact us in advance with any specific requirements.

Entrants under 18 require permission from a parent or guardian to enter.

To enter someone who is under 18, you will need to put the details of someone aged over 18 in the 'Your information' section on the online entry form.

You will then need to select the 'Minor' entry form tab and put the actual entrant's information here.

Race Office

Race Office opening times will be annnounced closer to event day.

Baggage Store

Runners will be able to deposit their baggage free of charge at our baggage store.

Drink stations

Bottled water is available at the finish. Competitors are advised to ensure that they consider the effects of dehydration and drink plenty of fluids to compensate.

Event Village

The Ali Brownlee 5K partners with several local and national charities. They will be in the Event Village to meet and greet runners and to raise awareness of the important work they do.

First aid

Should you find you require medical assistance, personnel will be on hand to help at regular intervals on the course with fixed first aid stations located near to the water stations. In addition there will be a first aid unit and recovery area located near to the finish.

Food and Drink

There are a number of bars and cafés in the area that will be sure to welcome spectators and participants, and are often bursting with atmosphere after the event.

Race numbers cannot be interchangeable and entries cannot be assigned, transferred, sold or gifted to any third party. Do not under any circumstances allow anybody else to run with your race number. Amongst other issues, this can create major problems for the medical team should they need to treat unknown runners. Anyone found to have done this will be disqualified
