Entries are now open for the Larking Gowen Ipswich Half Marathon Corporate Challenge.
This popular city‑centre route is known for its brilliant atmosphere, with enthusiastic crowds lining the streets to support thousands of walkers, joggers and runners on race day.
The Corporate Challenge is a race within a race, bringing teams together to compete for the title of Corporate Challenge Champions. While the event runs alongside the main Ipswich Half Marathon, success isn’t about individual times. Instead, teams work together, with places decided by the fastest combined time across the finish line.
Teams of all shapes and sizes have taken part in the past, so whether you’re entering with colleagues, friends, family or teammates, it’s a great way to take on the challenge together. Rally your team and get signed up.

Included In Your Team Entry
Team race day kit
Teams that entered before the 15th August will be kitted out in their own, personalised racing t-shirts. The shirts will be branded with your team name, logo and, should you be running for a particular cause, a charity logo too. By sporting these on the day, your team will be instantly recognisable – great for boosting your exposure and promoting your cause, charity, sport team, or business.
Teams that entered after the 15th August will not be provided with race-day t-shirts and may wear their own race-day kit.
Trophies and prizes
Not only will all team members receive their finisher’s goody bag (including all sorts of treats, your finisher’s t-shirt and your race medal), but the winning teams will also be recognised and presented with their own award for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Both the fastest female and fastest male winner will also receive an award.
PR and media coverage
Teams will have the opportunity to feature in profile-raising news stories about the challenge via our media partners and social channels.
We'd love to hear your reasons for taking part, whether it's fundraising for a great cause, to boost team morale, or to simply have fun with friends and family.

Race day hospitality
Team entries are granted access to race day hospitality. Here, you can escape the elements, meet your fellow competitors and take advantage of the free refreshments both before and after your run.
Team photo
Your package also includes a digital team photo. Once we’ve captured your team’s pre-race enthusiasm, we’ll send you a link post-event – making for a great social post to celebrate your team's fantastic efforts.
Finisher T-Shirt
All Corporate Challenge entrants will have a finisher T-Shirt included in the entry fee.
How to enter
- Teams are a minimum of 5 members and entrants must be aged 15+
- The cost per team of 4 is £240. Additional team members are £60 each.
