The Trinity Leeds Santa Dash is back for 2026, and this year it's bigger and better than ever with an exciting new city centre route! 🎅
Join thousands of Santas on Sunday 6th December as the streets of Leeds come alive with festive fun, Christmas cheer and an unforgettable atmosphere. Whether you're taking part with family, friends, colleagues or little ones, the Trinity Leeds Santa Dash is the perfect way to kick-start your festive season.
This iconic event welcomes everyone to take part. Run, jog, walk or wheel your way around the 5K route, soaking up the sights and sounds of the city as you celebrate the most wonderful time of the year. Prams are welcome, making it a fantastic festive day out for all ages and abilities.
With a brand-new city centre route, a sea of red Santa suits and plenty of festive spirit from start to finish, there's never been a better time to be part of the Trinity Leeds Santa Dash. So gather your fellow Santas, embrace the Christmas magic and join us for one of Leeds' most joyful festive traditions.

Race Number Information
You will need to collect your race number and Santa suit ahead of event day. More information regarding collections will be available soon.
You will just need your QR code and confirmation email, a member of the team will simply scan this and hand you your race number and Santa suit.
Important Note
Do not under any circumstances allow anybody else to run with a race number under your name.
Amongst other issues, this can create major problems for the medical team should they need to treat unknown runners. Anyone found to have done this will be disqualified.

All you need to know
Clothing
It is important to note that all clothing discarded at the start of the race will be collected and donated. Unfortunately, we are unable to keep any clothing that has been left in the starting area.
Medical
Should you find you require medical assistance, personnel will be on hand to help. Please speak to a member of Run For All or a Marshal if you're in need of assistance.
In addition, there will be a first aid unit and recovery area located near the start and finish line.
Baggage
There is no a baggage store available for this event so participants are asked to leave their bags and any extra clothes with family and friends.
Family Support?
We're sure lots of fans are coming to support you! Please get them to head to the start/finish line so they can see you zoom past them and collect your finisher bauble.
Sustainablity
Keeping Leeds green
We are committed to keeping Leeds green and we understand the importance of doing our bit for the environment. Bins will be provided across the event site and we urge people to use the facilities provided.
It is important that we leave the course the way we found it. Let’s work together to Keep Leeds green and encourage other runners to do the same.
Headphones on event day
You may choose to wear bone conducting headphones as you make your way around the course.
We ask that volume is kept low to ensure you can hear the marshal's instructions, emergency vehicles and fellow competitors.
Our official headphone partner Shokz use bone conducting technology to ensure you can still hear your surroundings.”
