The City of Lincoln Mini and Junior runs mean that the kids can get involved in this amazing day of running as well as adults! Please see below the distances on offer.

| Mini | 1.5KM | Age between 3 & 8. All children must run with a parent or guardian. |
| Junior | 2.5KM | Ages between 9 & 14 |
Run For All events aim to be inclusive for everyone, regardless of ability. So, if your child has any issues, mobility or otherwise, please get in touch with us prior to the race so we can help them have the best experience.
We have 100 free entries to give away to schools and registered community groups in Lincoln. Entries will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis, so don't miss out on your chance to get involved. To secure your free entries, please fill out the below form and send it to info@runforall.com.
NEW FOR 2026!
All Run For All Junior events now include official timing - so young runners can track their finish time and celebrate their achievement, while still enjoying the fun and friendly atmosphere of race day.
Whilst our junior events will still be all about fun, confidence and participation, adding the timing aspects adds an extra layer of excitement for those who want to see how they did on the day!

Our Mini & Junior events help to encourage an active lifestyle at a young age, as well as offering a great opportunity for some family fun, allowing siblings and parents to get involved in running together.
Attending community events can also help to build confidence in children by getting them involved in a bigger group activity.

Important entry information
Registering a young runner aged between 3 and 8 years old:
- The adult running must put another adults emergency contact details when asked during the registration process. Please do not enter your own information here.
Registering a young runner aged between 9 and 14 years old:
- Entries must be completed by a parent/guardian aged 18 years or over on behalf of the child.
- The adult must log in to their own account when registering their child. If you do not have an account, you can create one.
Enter with a peace of mind

For a small fee, this will give you insurance should you be unable to take part in the event. You can cancel your entry and receive a refund on your entry fee up to 48 hours before the event.

Race Number Information
This is a collection only event. Further information will be provided nearer the time.
Do not under any circumstances allow anybody else to run with a race number under your name.
Amongst other issues, this can create major problems for the medical team should they need to treat unknown runners. Anyone found to have done this will be disqualified.

All you need to know
Baggage
There is not a baggage store for the Mini and Junior runs, so please leave any bags and extra clothes with any family and friends who will be cheering you on.
Warm Up
To help you feel ready and raring to go, our friends from Active Nation will be offering a fun warm-up!
Left Clothing
Please note that any clothing left on the start and finish line will be collected at the end of the race and donated to charity.
Support & spectators
Please get any family or friends who are coming to watch to head to the start/ finish line so they can see you zoom past them.
At the Finish
Once finishing the race and collecting your goody bag and medal, you will be directed to the collection point by our team of friendly volunteers where you'll be able to meet back up with your parents or guardians.
Photos
The Marathon Photos team will be on course throughout the event to snap your picture. Photographs can be purchased at marathonphotoslive.com. Should you not wish for your photo to be used, please e-mail info@runforall.com prior to event day.

Parking is available at Yarbrough Leisure Centre car park.

Regular services run to Lincoln Railway Station.

The start is on Riseholme Road and the finish is near Lincoln Cathedral. Walkers can access the venue from any direction, irrespective of road closures.
