Park & Ride Tickets

With NO on-street parking in Headingley and restrictions in place to support residents, Park and Ride is essential if you want to travel to the event by car.

Road closures will be in place to facilitate the marathon route and vehicle access for non-residents will be restricted. We advise that spectators and participants plan journeys in advance and avoid driving into Headingley on race day to avoid any difficulties.

You must book this service in advance.

A selection of shuttle bus services are also available for spectators.

These services include:

  • City Centre Shuttle Bus
  • Stourton Park and Ride
  • Elland Road Park and Ride
  • Shuttle buses to cheer points in Otley and Adel

Tickets for both park and ride, and for spectator buses must be purchased from the First bus app.

Simply download the app, navigate to 'buy tickets' and then to 'promotions'. You will then find all the Leeds Marathon services, as indicated by the ticket name.

*Please note capacity is limited for all services and we recommend marathon participants book the early slots to ensure they arrive at the start line on time.
