Race numbers will start arriving around two weeks prior to event day.
Your race pack will contain your race number with a baggage label attached to the bottom and timing chip attached to the back. Please fill out the back of your race number with your emergency information. You should also take the time to read your race guide which will be sent via email.

You will receive your finishers t-shirt in your goody bag on event day.
If you have selected to run for a charity, they may send out their own fundraising t-shirt. You would need to contact the charity directly to enquire about one.

General entrants can transfer their entry to a different event or to another person up to 6 weeks before the event takes place. Please see the FAQ below for this, Leeds Half Marathon has now sold out so you are now unable to transfer to this event.

Entries for the Half Marathon are now closed so you are no longer able to transfer down. You can transfer your entry to any other event in 2023 by logging into your portal here https://myevents.active.com/

You can log into your Active account via this link and transfer your entry to a different event for a £5 admin fee.
Please be advised you can only make this change up to 6 weeks before the event takes place, or 12 weeks for a marathon. The Leeds Half Marathon has now sold out so you will no longer be able to transfer to this event.

You can transfer your entry to someone else for a £10 fee. To do this, you can log into your events portal here https://myevents.active.com/ and select ‘Transfer Registration’. You will then be required to input the new participants email address so an email can be sent to them to accept the transfer.
On receipt of this email, the new participant must complete the registration process, including payment, this will also include any increases to entry fees. Once the new registration is complete you will receive a refund of your entry minus the £10 transfer fee and processing fees.
Please be advised changes to your entry can only be made up to 6 weeks before the event you are entered in takes place.

Located on the back of your race number, you do not have to do anything to your timing chip. We ask that you do not tamper with it.

Yes you can.
You can log into your Active account via this link https://myevents.active.com/ and enter your new address.
Prior to your race number being posted, we will also send every entrant an email with link to provide a new postal address if necessary. Entrants will have one week from the email send date to ensure to provide a new postal address.
You will be unable to change your address on your entry within six weeks of the event date as the race packs will already have been processed. If you change address within this period, we recommend that you put a forward on your mail to your new address.

Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee the safe arrival of race packs to non-UK addresses and therefore your race pack will be available for collection from the Race Office over event weekend. Don't worry, you will still receive your electronic event guide with all the information you need ahead of the big day.

The cut off time is 7 hours for Leeds Marathon and 3.5 hours for Leeds Half Marathon.

Entrants are welcome to fundraise for any charity they wish however, you are not required to fundraise for a charity.

We advise entrants to meet their family and friends either in the event village or in Headingley.

Yes, you will be able to go up into the stands to watch fellow runners finish. Please ask stewards on the day who will be able to advise you of the areas, which you can go to.

Please enter the stadium via Gate G, this is the entrance behind the western terrace of the cricket stadium off Kirkstall Road.
Please note this is the only entrance in to the stadium on the day.
Park and Ride FAQS

No, but we have a number of options for getting to Headingley Stadium. These are as follows;
Park and Ride - Stourton
City Centre Shuttle - picking up and dropping off on Portland Crescent/ Gate outside of O2 Academy
Park and Stride - Leeds Beckett Campus -
Park and Stride allows you to park your vehicle and then walk to Headingley Stadium. It is approximately a 15 minute walk (0.8 mile).
Please note that it is a slight uphill walk on the return.

Stourton is most suitable for those coming from the south and south east via the M62, M1 or M621.
City Centre Shuttle works for those staying or wishing to park in the city centre and for those from the east and north east of the city.
Park and Stride works for those to the north west of the city with easy access via Kirkstall Road and Kirkstall Lane. -
Purchasing an individual Park and Ride ticket covers the parking of one vehicle and one persons return bus travel. If you are arriving with multiple people in your vehicle, you will need to add further return bus tickets later in the purchase for those individuals.
A City Centre Shuttle ticket covers the cost of your return bus travel from the city centre.
Park and Stride tickets cover the cost of your parking for the day at the Park and Stride site.
Children under 5 are free and you do not need to purchase a ticket for them. Anyone aged 5 and over must have a ticket.

A Family Ticket includes Park and Ride plus the Spectator Shuttle service for 2 adults and 2 children (return).
You will all need to travel together on the service that you booked onto.

The half an hour window is the bus departure time. Please leave yourself sufficient time to arrive prior to your half an hour departure window.

Yes, please show your confirmation email (printed or on your mobile) with your QR code visible to the bus driver.

Please access via Headingley Mount > St Anne’s Road > Batcliffe Mount > St Chads Drive. Please note there will be road closures in place around Headingley the morning of Sunday 14th May and you will not be able to access this from Church Wood Avenue.

Stourton Park and Ride is situated at Junction 7 on the M621 and can be accessed directly from the M621 Motorway, A61 Wakefield Road and A639 Leeds Road to Pontefract Road, catering for those travelling from the South and South/West. To find the site on a Sat Nav, just search Stourton Park and Ride.

You can get on the City Centre Shuttle bus outside the O2 Academy on Portland Gate (LS2 3AW). The bus will drop you back off at the same location after.

The spectator shuttle leaves from Queenswood Drive in Headingley which is a 6 minute walk to the entrance of the stadium. It will run on a constant loop to the spectator hubs on course.

The Park and Ride buses run every 15 minutes. But please ensure that you get on the bus within the time window that you have purchased your ticket for.
You can catch any return bus, you are not allocated a time slot for the return journey

The Park and Ride, City Centre Shuttle and Spectator Shuttle buses will drop passengers off on Queenswood Drive in Headingley, which is approximately a 6 minute walk to the entrance of Headingley Stadium (Gate G).
Please plan your journey and allow good time to get to and from the venue.

All buses are fully accessible for wheelchairs and buggies. Just ask the driver if you require assistance getting onto the bus. The bus has a designated area for both wheelchairs and buggies and priority seating for any mobility impaired passengers.

It will take approximately 22 minutes to get from Stourton Park and Ride to the stadium and 15 minutes from the City Centre.

The last buses back to Stourton and the City Centre will leave at 5pm from Queenswood Drive in Headingley.

Stourton Park and Ride will close at 6pm, with the last bus back at 5pm.

You will need to arrive between the allocated time you selected. If you are late, you may have to wait to get on a later bus to the stadium.

You must purchase a ticket before arriving at any of the sites.

Dogs are not allowed on the buses or into the stadium, with the exception of assistance dogs.
Spectator FAQs

There are both seating and standing tickets available to reserve. Each block will state whether it is seated or standing.

Small bags are permitted into the stadium. Bags larger than A4 size will not be permitted. Bag searches will take place on arrival.

Headingley Stadium is a cashless site, so only card payments will be accepted

There will be parking restrictions in place and no drop off available outside. The drop off areas are via Beechwood Drive onto St Michael’s Lane (south) and via Shaw Lane onto Grove Lane.

You will need one ticket per person - babes in arms will not be required to reserve a spectator ticket.

We recommend you do not bring a pushchair to Headingley Stadium as you will not be able to take them into the stands.

There are plenty of water fountains at the stadium, so please bring your own empty bottles for filling.

There is bicycle parking within Headingley Stadium.

Spectators can enter the stadium from 10:30, you are however, not required to be in at that point and can come in at any time.
Please note there is no re-admittance to the stadium once you leave.

Otley Road (up to the junction with North Lane), North Lane, Cardigan Road (between North Lane and St Michael’s Lane) and from approximately 11:00, St Michael’s Lane will be open to spectators.
Accessibility FAQs

There will be numerous accessible toilet facilities and first aid points on route. These will be located every 2-3 miles. The route will also be marshalled throughout if any further assistance is required.

Car parking inside Headingley Stadium will not be available due to the nature of the event, with road closures around the venue and the start and finish being inside the stadium.
There is, however, limited accessible accessible parking near to the stadium. These bays are available to reserve in advance by contacting Run For All on info@runforall.com
Once the spaces have all been taken we will be directing people to use the Park and Ride services where buses will be able to accommodate one wheelchair space on each bus.

Tickets for accessible viewing areas at Headingley Stadium are only available to claim through Run For All’s ticket office by emailing info@runforall.com
There are dedicated accessible viewing areas within the stands at Headingley Stadium.
Please note each wheelchair user bay also has a companion seat. In the North Stand the companion seat is next to the bay and in the Global East Stand the companion seat is behind the bay.
Lift access is available in all stands.

Access to the stadium for all participants and spectators is via Gate G on Kirkstall Lane.
Please note there will be no drop off points outside the entrance due to the numbers of people entering and attending the event.
The nearest drop off point will be via Beechwood Crescent and onto St Michael’s Lane (south).

There are accessible toilets located in every stand of the venue. All the accessible toilets are locked with radar keys that are available from the nearest steward.
There are also two changing place facilities available. These are situated in the Howard Stand (facing the cricket pitch and adjoined to the North Stand) and also in the South Stand.
These facilities include:

• Grab rails by the toilet and sink
• Mounted flushing lever
• Backrest
• Full-length mirror
• Emergency assistance alarm fitted to floor level
