The Bradford 10K will return to Bradford city centre on Sunday 28th February 2027, with entries now officially open.
Following 18 successful years under the stewardship of Epilepsy Action, and 17,000 runners, the popular event will now be delivered by Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All, becoming the latest addition to it’s growing portfolio of events across Yorkshire and beyond.
Participants can look forward to the same much-loved experience, with the fast and flat route once again taking runners through the heart of Bradford before finishing in Centenary Square.
While Run For All will take on the delivery of the race, Epilepsy Action will remain the lead charity partner, continuing its long-standing association with the event and giving participants the opportunity to support its vital work through fundraising.
Open to participants of all ages and abilities, the event welcomes everyone from first-time 10K runners and seasoned athletes to wheelchair participants and charity fundraisers.
As one of the opening events in Run For All’s 2027 calendar, the Bradford 10K promises to bring thousands together for a memorable day of achievement, community spirit and celebration.
Mike Tomlinson, CEO at Run For All, said:
"We are delighted to be bringing the Bradford 10K into the Run For All events portfolio.
"For the past 18 years, Epilepsy Action has built and developed a fantastic event that is valued by runners and the local community alike. We look forward to building on that success and continuing to work closely with them as the event's lead charity partner.
"The Bradford 10K strengthens our commitment to creating accessible opportunities for people to get active, achieve their goals and raise vital funds for good causes. We can't wait to welcome thousands of participants to the start line next February for what promises to be a fantastic day for the city."
Louise McCormick, Challenge Events Fundraising Lead at Epilepsy Action said:
“After organising the Bradford 10k for 18 years, Epilepsy Action is so pleased to hand over the reins to Run For All. As the organisers of some of Yorkshire’s best races, we know the iconic race will be well looked after and continue to thrive.
“We’ve loved seeing the Bradford 10k bring together people from across Yorkshire and wider – it’s a race all about fun and inclusion. Whether you’re striving for a new personal best, or looking to complete your first 10k, the race truly is welcoming to everyone.
“1 in 100 people in the UK live with epilepsy, including over 52,000 in Yorkshire alone. Epilepsy impacts many aspects of daily life and can often leave people feeling isolated and alone.
We’re so pleased to be the headline charity for this event, and hope that runners taking part will take a moment to learn something about epilepsy or even make a small donation which goes directly towards supporting our frontline services.”
