IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE :
• Make sure you wear suitable clothing for the day - loose clothing, hats, sunglasses and suncream.
• Make sure to stay hydrated both pre-event and during the event. There'll be plenty of water available but feel free to bring a bottle to refill.
Meet the experts
As race day gets closer, it's natural to have questions about fuelling, pacing, training and managing those pre-race nerves. That's why we're bringing in experts like Jack Hope, Coopah's Head of Performance, who combines an MSc in Sport & Exercise Science, published running research and more than 20 years of racing experience.
New to track? Jack will walk you through what intervals actually are and how to run them. Chasing a sharper pace? He'll help you dial it in. Either way, this is a rare chance to train with one of the UK's top coaches - right here in York.
