Looking for a festive day out? Trinity Leeds Santa Dash is the Christmas event you won’t want to miss

This Christmas, families, friends and colleagues looking to kick-start their festive celebrations need to look no further than the brand-new Trinity Leeds Santa Dash.

Taking place on Sunday 6^th December 2026, the festive 5K will see thousands of Santas take over Leeds city centre in a spectacular celebration of Christmas spirit, community, and fundraising. Whether you’re planning a festive family day out, a pre-Christmas get-together with friends, or a workplace challenge with a difference, the Trinity Leeds Santa Dash promises a memorable morning of seasonal fun.

Participants of all ages and abilities are invited to run, jog, walk or wheel the route, making it an event that everyone can enjoy together. From young children and grandparents to friendship groups, schools, and work teams, the dash offers the perfect opportunity to make festive memories while soaking up the atmosphere of a city filled with Christmas cheer.

As a sea of red Santa suits winds through the streets of Leeds, participants can expect plenty of festive entertainment, a welcoming community atmosphere and the chance to be part of what is set to become a new Christmas tradition for the city.

The festive feel-good factor doesn’t stop there. Every step taken and every pound raised will help support important charitable causes, including this year’s official partner charity, Leeds Hospitals Charity, meaning participants can celebrate the season while giving back to their local community.

Tristan Batley-Kyle, Operations Director at Jane Tomlinson's Run For All, said:

“If you’re looking for one event to add to your Christmas calendar this year, make it the Trinity Leeds Santa Dash.

"We're inviting people of all ages and abilities to pull on a Santa suit, gather their family, friends or colleagues, and be part of a fantastic celebration in the heart of Leeds. Whether you’re starting a new family tradition, enjoying a festive day out with friends or taking on a workplace challenge, it’s an event that’s all about making memories together.

"With thousands of Santas filling the city streets, an incredible atmosphere and the chance to support Leeds Hospitals Charity, there’s no better way to kick-start the Christmas season while giving something back to your local community.”
