Yorkshire Dales Festival Postponed to 2022

27 April 2021
The following message was sent to participants in the 2020 Yorkshire Dales Festival on the 27th April 2021.
Thank you for your patience and continued support over the past year. We appreciate that due to COVID-19 there has been a number of alterations to events including the Yorkshire Dales Festival that have been outside of our control, so we thank you for your understanding.
Whilst the easing of lockdown slowly continues and its hoped events will be able to return later this year, we unfortunately write to you today to advise that the Yorkshire Dales Festival has been postponed to 2022.
As lockdown has eased, a vast number of people have got out to explore our local countryside and as such areas such as Settle and the Yorkshire Dales have seen an increased footfall in the past few months.
With this event set to attract thousands of trail runners and walkers over a weekend, we need to ensure all location partners are comfortable with the return of the events to the area. Therefore the decision to postpone to 2022 will ensure you still receive a high quality event day experience without restrictions.
Our team are working with local partners to agree a date for Summer 2022 and hope to have this date confirmed and shared with all by the end of May this year. However, we thought it important to share the news as early as possible that the event wouldn't be taking place in 2021.
We appreciate that there will be much disappointment today due to this further postponement but we hope you can focus on the start line and remember the incredible difference your participation can make to so many charities
We can confirm that all entries will automatically been moved to 2022, however, if you wish to transfer to another Run For All event in 2021 please contact our team at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can arrange this for you. To view our event calendar, please click here. Alternatively your entry will remain active for the 2022 Yorkshire Dales Festival.
We really hope we will see you all on the start line next year, but in the meantime, we would ask you to stay safe, stay well and keep active.
On behalf of the Run For All Team can we thank you for your continued support and patience.
