Lincoln Half Marathon Next Challenge for Fundraiser Lewis

Earlier this year, Lewis completed his first ever 10K event, raising money for the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. It was no easy feat, and one he had spent months preparing for and training towards.

Crossing the finish line only fuelled his motivation. Reflecting on the experience, Lewis said he was "hungry for more", both in terms of running and raising money for worthwhile causes.

Having never taken part in a running event before this year, Lewis has already set his sights on new challenges. He has signed up for the Lincoln Half Marathon as part of his journey towards completing a full marathon next year.

Lewis chose the Lincoln Half Marathon after moving to the city to study at university. He explained: "I wanted to do my part for the community and this is an extension of that vision."

As part of his latest challenge, Lewis is raising money for the Jane Tomlinson Appeal, a charity that provides care, understanding and specialist support for children and families who have experienced the death of a loved one, helps improve the lives of people living with cancer, and funds life-saving cancer research.

Lewis is passionate about supporting the charity, saying: "Many of us have been affected by cancer, or unfortunately will be at some point in our lives, whether that's ourselves or someone we love. That's why I'm proud to be running and raising funds for such an important cause."
