Event information
Join the thousands of people flocking to the beautiful city of York for what promises to be an amazing day of running and fundraising at the Yorkshire Marathon Festival. The Altra Yorkshire 10 Mile is one of our most popular events, perfect for those who want to challenge themselves without doing the full marathon distance.
The 10 Mile race starts and finishes at the University of York, taking runners past historical landmarks such as York Minster before passing through the village of Stockton-on-the-Forest and going down Murton Way, back towards University Road for the finish line.

Your race number will be delivered approximately 2 weeks before the event day. More information will follow closer to event day.

We are only able to change your address up to 6 weeks before the event takes place. If you are unable to collect your race number from the old address you can come to the Race Office on event weekend to be reallocated a new number.
What if I'm coming from overseas?
Race numbers will not be posted to those participants who provided a postal address located outside of the UK as we can’t guarantee the safe delivery of the race number.
However, if you do have a UK address that your race number can be posted to prior to the event, please contact us at info@runforall.com with details. Alternatively, you will be able to collect your race number from the Race Office on the event weekend. Opening hours of the Race Office will be detailed on our website at www.runforall.com in the week prior to the event.

Keeping York green
Recycling bins will be provided on course at each water station - we ask that you please use these to help us do our bit for the environment. If you wanted to hold on to your water beyond the provided bins, please pass any litter to your nearest marshal when finished.
We are in partnership with JogOn to help reduced the environmental impact that large running events can have. By working with JogOn, we help to reduce the waste of running shoes that end up in landfill every year by giving them a new life. Trainers are either reused by giving them to those in need, or shredded and their remains used for other purposes.
Drop off stations will be made readily available throughout the Event Village for you to drop off any old or unwanted trainers so they can be given a new lease of life.
We encourage our participants to travel sustainably where possible by taking public transport or car sharing to reduce traffic emissions.
Give your trainers a new ‘lace of life’ with JogOn
Part ways with unwanted old trainers that you may have previously thrown out. Drop-off stations will be made readily available next to the Race Office, located in the Event Village on event day.
